Anyone here buy their powders in bulk and use a capsule machine to make their own. I'm planning on getting one as the difference in cost is massive than buying from a store. One problem though, if you want to get a certain dosage in a capsule would the machine evenly do that or is it better to just buy caps weigh the powder and put it in them

Why not just the powder each time you take it? Capping is a bit messy and sometimes you may need 10 caps per serving and it's much easier just to mix it in some fluid and drink it.
There's also the danger of powder burps when you use caps too.

^ I agree. I even have a really nice machine but it's collecting dust now.
Never heard of the powder burps though.

Guess it would be easier, save time, mess and be more effective . Austinite you use a lot of supplement's, do you get your's in bulk powder form and just mix them with water ?

I'll just go with that instead of all the time putting them in to caps. Do you mix them all the vitamins ect in the same drink ?

Yeah. I mix different things together. Aminos, minerals, vitamins, Cialis, etc....

Cheers, ive ordered some melatonin and nac cap form ill just get the rest of the stuff in powder ans save some coin

i started off capping my powder, then quickly realized it is quite the chore. Now i just scale it and lick the platter clean (if it's something you measure in mg)
if it is measured in grams, i just find a scooper of the right size, verify the weight of a scoop, and then use that as the basis for how many scoops I'll take.
the only time caps are preferred is if i'm traveling

The Capsule Machine is not a bad cheap at home unit. You may have to use some filler for the right amount of MGOriginally Posted by boxer08
