DHEA and Pregnenolone
I've been taking 200mgs of DHEA (100mg/am and 100mgs/pm) and 50mgs of pregnenolone (am) for a little over a week now and my afternoon energy crashes seem to have improved considerably (hard to quantify how much but suffice it to say I don't feel like crawling into a dark hole and hybernating in the afternoon). I don't think it's just a coincidence since I've been outside organizing the hot garage (the heat makes the fatigue worse) so if they are the reason for the improvement, what type of problem does this point to? Simply being deficient? Or would it more likely be adrenal related? Or would those be one in the same? I am on trt if that makes a difference.

I just ordered some DHEA the other day, looking forward to trying it.

That's a lot of DHEA. Is it micronized? Why so much ?

Any ideas on the fatigue causes? Taking these two sups seems to have helped quite a bit. I am also on t3 and t4 as well as test cyp. New labs results tomorrow but last time they were probably in the 40% range. Didn't really notice a huge difference though from before I was taking them to when I was. Been having afternoon blahs for some time now. Just feels like all my energy has been sucked out of my body for 3-5 hours.

Fatigue is one of the hardest things to diagnose. If it's only in the afternoon, it might be Cortisol related.
