    Welcome,

Good job researching and deciding to delay steroid use .

There are lots of supplements you can take. It really all depends on your goals and exactly what you want these supplements to do. But if you're just starting out, the most important thing for you to fix is going to be your diet. So if I were you, I would spend time in the nutrition section and read the stickies there. You can post your current diet there and have the pros critique it for you.

As for supplements, here's a thread with details about lots of useful supplements that will help you if your diet is good. Read the descriptions and choose a few based on your goals,

    Good luck.

Thanks for that, my goals really are to put a lot of size on, I haven't trained for a year but I was training for 3 years but got to a point where I think my diet was wrong and I stopped putting anything on and easing getting anywhere at all, I do get quite impatient, when looking at protein is the anything in particular I should be looking at?

I don't do protein supplements/shakes. Maybe someone else will chime in. I prefer food. You don't need massive amounts of protein, what's your body fat percentage and weight?

Just get some whey protein or even better is get a protein blend, usually 2 scoops. Put 1 cup of oats in a blender and blend them to a fine consistency ad 8 to 12 oz water or 2% milk blend than add the protein powder. Get some good creatine and use that also. I use aminos, find some good ones I take 5 with every meal. Head over to the nutrition section and let them help you figure out your diet because its 75% of building your body. Some guys font like shakes but I have used them since I was young and they work for me. Good luck.
