What is the best way to inhibit cortisol from binding to receptor and breaking muscle down?

DHEA and Vit C will help. Read this:

If you go the dhea route make sure it's micronized. You should know your dhea-s level before you embark on this.

As. Kelkel mentioned, DHEA and vitamin C are great at lowering cortisol but the question is, do you really need to lower it? Have you had tests to confirm its high or are you just following the logic cortisol=catabolism so cortisol=bad?

Cortisol is a necessary hormone and it's elevation after periods of intense training is natural. It's one hormonal response to training and can be used as an indicator to the effectiveness of your training. Now if your cortisol levels are abnormally high, yes reducing them would help but if they're not, why drop them when normal physiologic levels of cortisol will not evaporate your gains and progress?

I've heard of this but haven't found any really conclusive evidence, would you happen to be able to point me in the right direction? Or link a study or a few lol? Thanks for that reaffirmation about lipolysis too!

DHEA gives me gyno symptoms quickly and I'm not even prone to gyno even whilst on the stronghest of cycles.
