    does time of day matter?

i've read a few of the threads here and am amazed at the level of knowledge (and the level of options) available. as i build on my own supplement routine, i'm wondering if time of day matters for taking such. here's my current protocol:

    morning:
    2400 mg fish oil
    300 mg alpha lipoic
650 mg (each) glucosamine chondroitin mdm
    800 mg ibuprofin
zyflamend (mixed whole body herbal supplement)

    mid day:
    general multivitamin

    night:
    800 mg ibuprofin

i'll be adding 2400 mg ZMA soon (at night)

    thoughts?

The timing of the sups list will not matter much except the zma which as you indicated should be used before bed. Why so much ibuprofen? You know this is harmful to your liver if used continuously?

    good question

i'm an older fellow (50) and have deteriorating joints - arthritis in both knees, one hip and both shoulders. i use ibuprofin at these dosages to manage inflammation (and help a bit with pain).

i've checked with multiple docs and have learned that up to 2400 mg/day is likely ok for long term usage for those not especially sensitive to stomach bleeding (i am not sensitive).
