You can retain muscle. Just eat before and after work. If before and after work you're unable to reach your TDEE with calories, that would be an issue. Otherwise, no problem. Doesnt matter when you eat.

So you eat before work, get a break after 6 hours to eat then 7 hours later you eat again? I don't see the problem. Don't get hung up on the "I need to eat every 4 hours" crap. Your body will not cannibalize your muscle that fast or that easily.

Those of you who have been eating jerky, has it been store bought or homemade?

I love Jerky but I worry about the amount of sodium in the store bought jerky.

A bag of trail mix, protein bar, beef jerky. there's no excuse not to eat, many times I eat while working at the same time. I have to! I'll start to shake and get very weak( I work to hard)
