    Creatine Q&A

So I had a couple questions concerning creatine, specifically creatine monohydrate.

I have taken creatine monohydrate in the past, my longest stent being 2 years straight @ 5g a day.

I never really saw much of any noticeable gains. So I have some questions...

    1. What exactly does creatine do to supplement you during a workout or post workout? (Does it just make you retain water or does it actually give you some strength gains)

    2. I've taken 5g of creatine everyday in the past. Was I taking the right amount or not enough to notice anything?

    3. Is creatine okay to take on cycle? (Okay during & post cycle)

That's a start... If anyone can answer my questions or add anything it'd be much appreciated.

    Thank you!!!

Well I know with creatine you retain some water, I've heard. If you're taking an AI like arimidex will you be taking creatine for nothing or does it still help?

I would like to know this as well... im taking 5mg a day of monohydrate and my performance in the gym is the same and weight on the scale doesnt move. Is creatine just not necessary for some people or something?

I've tried creatine on and off for many years. Always makes me feel bloated. Some people swear by it. Just doesn't work for me.

Creatine is great for most people, long distance endurance athletes.

Personally I've noticed more water retention with monohydrate than kre alkalyn. I prefer kre alkalyn.
