    OTC Recovery Supplements

Anything that will help with muscle soreness asides from proper diet and sleep? Used to take glutamine back in the day but decided it was a waste after reading a few articles on it.

Anybody have any input? I don't cycle so, anything that can be bought at the store.
Lately been experiencing longer than usual muscle soreness, which sucks. Mind you I have switched my training around so it might just be my body getting used to it. Sucks when you have sore hamstrings for 4 days and have to miss your dead lift day.

Only thing I can come up with is taking BCAAs before or during workout.

But based on your avi its obvious that your nutrition is top notch.

I agree that its probably the workout switch.

Besides even if you did find some supplement to help by the time it "kicked in" your body would have already adapted to the new workout.

    -Cheers

Creatine, citruline, and Cissus can help.

Any particular reason why you stopped creatine?

Ran out, and haven't bought more.

Was one of those things I didn't really notice a difference whether I was on it or not, perhaps it was doing something?

I would think so, Ive read countless studies on its benefits.

Aside from the possible GI upset if you take too much at once, its basically an all gain supplement.

Also just to get 5g you would need to eat 2-3lbs of meat.

It is a natural anti-inflammatory, mainly. It has also been shown to be anabolic in certain tissues (mainly bone and connective tissue).
