So I was reading my woman's midol box and it says that it reduces bloating. I am under the impression that a woman's menstrual bloating is caused by water retention. Would midol be an effective mitigator of water retention on cycle?

That would be the cause of pretty much all bloating...
Only one formulation of Midol contains a diuretic (the one for teens), and that is Pamabrom, some weak diuretic.
You'd be better off just controlling your E2 levels and maybe adding a low dose of HCTZ, since Midol is expensive and contains Acetaminophen.
Fair enough, just thought I'd throw the idea out there
Ranger, you bleeding again?![]()
