Need extra help replacing GABA & Seratonia in Brain Is there a Real supplement

I have been on TRT and done a few blast since 2012 .

I have been getting healthier and more aware of my body and recently detoxed off of all Pain meds ie. Opiaates ( IT WAS HELL ) !

Next is to come off Benzo that Dr. has had me on fro 12 years .

He switched me from Xanax to Colapien : he said the extented relaese would be easier to tirate down from than the fast acting Xanax ? Withdrawls from Xanax can be deadly if not done properly !

I have been doing extensive Internet rearch and the cause of the withdrawls are from the benzos causing the brain to stop producing natural GABA and Seratonia -sp, sorry ? ?

So I have seen ppl taking GABA and I was wondering what is the fastest way to supplement or actually cause the brain to start producing natural GABA & Seratonia or supplement it and still stop taking the Benzos ? I do not have Anxiety anymore my body is phycially addicted to the Benzos ?

Is there a GABA peptide or inhacer or sertonia either one to reconstitute and inject ? Even will go for a sccript if there is such an animial ?

Please offer experienced advise ? I made it through 7 days of hell with Opiate Detox ! I have tried and been told detox from Benzos is even worse and longer lasting and as I shared can be deadly ?

In case anyone has taken interest in this topic ?
When I went back to Dr. and told him my acheivements of detox and plans to detox off Xanax he scripted Colapen, extented release for coming off Benzos, ; additionally Tramadol, and Meloxacam to assist with sever pain I have . I have done more Internet research and found that Tramadol / Ultram actually can cause raised serotonin levels in the brain ?

Dr. also scripted Ambein for 30 days to get my sleep pattern back due to detox from 100 mg of opiates a day ; I would sleep short periods of time ( 3 to 4 hours max ) but have not had 8 or 9 straight hours in 2 mths sooooo the only reason for Ambein to establish a sleep patteren

I will stop taking as soon as I begin remotly normal night time sleep pattern Melatonin gives me a fog in the am when I 1st wake up and hard for me to shake it off ? With Ambien I wake from 8 to 10 hours of sound sleep and I am alert , jump in the shower and hit the gym

In my research I found that Tramadol / ultram actually can cause and over load in the brain of serotonin

so this my be one of the compounds that assist in my lowering the Benzos more quickly ?

Also St John's Wort assist in increased serotonin , anyone have research or experience with the use of St John's Wort ?

I know I have read on this forum about people taking something to increase GABA ? I just can't find the thread ?

Tramadol is safe with safe use and does not have the same addiction quualities as benzos, every time I have taken them for pain tbe keep me awake; not sure about the serotonin changes with them; zanax I found them personally addictive and I was only taking 1 at night for sleep. I suffer from bad sleep issues. After getting of the benzos your serotonin levels well get back depending on your usage levels. E exercise also helps

Need to clarify; ut sounds like you are being guided by a med professional; which is essentiall; I am also a big believer in that if the pain ir the anxiety ir sleep us more detrimental that the control ed use of the medication (for me 1 a night any more I stop use cut back) then the medication is a better option because a functional balanced life csn be achieved; good luck sounds like you are taking the right steps; I used to work in a methadone clinic

Hey gents don't give up on me ? I still need a way to ingest GABA (I assume it is not a controled compound ? Or is it ? ) and not seeking it for HGH increase just desire to have it in my system and hopefully will be in my brain which is where it is produced

All you have to do is Google Tramadol / Ultram and there is lots of info on the effects of Tramadol and Sertonin levels even to the point of excess Seretonin levels and that is what Benzos shut down the production of ! I have been on for 12 years and on 1 mg every 4 hrs

Dr. did switch me to Clonapen extented release , take one every 12 hours and I no longer have anxiety except from Benzo withdrawals

So the Dr said the extented release would be easier to tirate down on and I am now taking 2 mg am and 2 mg pm and no bad sides It just holds off the feeling I get aout every 4 hrs when the fast acting Xanax wears off and not the sudden rush / high like with Xanax! So I think we are headed in the right direction but knowing what I know has happened to supplement GABA and Seratonin wil lessen the awful withdrawals that Benzos cause ? Which is why many ppl just stay on them because it can take up to a year after detox for your body to regain proper natural balance ! This is why I seek to load up with some quality form of GABA and to increase the presence of Sertonin

Fully agreed. Benzos especially Xanax is very addicitive and hard to come off of.

Yes I thank you and I am very aware of this but the tapering is easier to talk about than to actually do this is one of the most widely prescribed drugs in use today and you are addicted in as little as 30 day and your ability to stop increases the longer you have been on them ! I have been on this medication for 12 years and really haven't needed it for 8 of these years

Dr. has already switched me to Clonipen last about 12 hrs. which is time released Benzo as opposed to the roller coaster Xanax ; last about 4 hrs. ! He hopes to have me detoxed in 5 mths from the time released Benzo and only time will tell also due to the shut down or lower natural production of GABA and Sertonin the , withdrawls can have effects on you for up to a year after detox .That is from the last time you take a Benzo and then you body startes the task of getting the normal natural production of GABA abd Serotonin back up to a level that is at a level that the Benzos had replaced and were masking with a drug as opposed to your narural brain function . Lots of people take these and are prescribed for sleep , Depression , panic attacks and not monitiored and they slip into heavey dependence of the drug even after they no longrt need to take the medicaation .
