    Bcaa

How important are BCAA's? Best to take before workout or during or after? Thanks

I take them before training, at some point during the day, and before bed. If for nothing else, the body can burn them as fuel instead of muscle tissue.

I take them during the workout in a workout drink. Good to sip on.

I use MuscleTech amino build. Mix one scoop with water and drink during workout. Then after workout I drink one scoop of MuscleTech Cell Tech. I only do half the amount of creatine so I don't bloat too much. Is all that ok?

...and the supplement industry LOVES you for buying their BCAA's and taking them.

However, for many, just learning to eat the right way with sufficient calories and protein, utilizing whole, unprocessed food, would be a better route.

BCAA are for a specific purpose. If you are consuming adequate protein and calories, then not an added advantage unless you are a competitive bodybuilder who covers all the angles

    Not important at all....

Don't most Protein Shakes have adequate amounts of BCAA's in them?

Any complete source or protein has BCAAs in it.

So, If I'm drinking a couple protein shakes a day. I don't see it as necessary to add in Additional BCAA's. Just my opinion.

Correct but it's not just bc of protein shakes. Beef, chicken, fish, pork, etc all have BCAAs in them; some more than others. Whey protein has one of the highest amounts of BCAAs but they're still found in every single complete protein source.

I haven't taking bcaa in a long time. I still have a container collecting dust. I did however find bcaa very useful during my extreme cutting days to help me through my workouts. I have learned since then proper carb dieting is much more useful.
