zma bottle smells like a dead rat

So my optimum nutrition bottle of zma really smells like a dead mouse or something. So bad to the point were I actually dumped all the pills out just to make sure something wasn't in there. I have never noticed this before is this normal?!? And should I continue using them?

I've never noticed a strong odor with ZMA....Valerian root smells REALLY bad.
IMO, if there's any doubt, I'd trash it.

My ZMA powder from bulk nutrients has an off sort of smell to it, but I don't think its as bad as what your describing. The actual ingredients of ZMA should last a very long time but if it really smells that bad just trash it.

Its in the garbage lol god the stuff smelled so bad I almost puked... almost dont want to buy it again after that experience lol.

If its as rancid as you say I would toss it. I just smelled my ZMA-5 and honestly it was kind of foul,,,like a smelly pumpkin.

My ZMA smells a little like cabbage...It is nothing wrong with it actually. If anything has a strange smell and that smell was not there before then better throw away... Just to be sure.
