Is as close to taking steroids as you can come without taking hormones (dont get me wrong, the effects/results are nowhere near similar). It really just fuels your atp (more energy). The size and strength you gain on it is mostly because of water weight. But after taking creatine for a while, you will have gained more muscle than you would "naturally", however we are not talking about much. I wouldnt spend money on it.

Definitely worth it IMO, it's incredibly cheap and proven to work in the majority of people. It's not a dramatic effect but it might mean 1 or 2 extra reps or a little more weight which in the long run adds up.

If you are a responder to creatine it can be worth it to supplement with it as you more than likely can't get enough through diet alone to mimic what supplementing with it does.

Yeah, its actually really easy. You put the creatine in your mouth and swallow it.

The physiological characteristics of responders were classified using Greenhaff et al [58] criterion of >20 mmol/kg dry weight increase in total intramuscular creatine and phosphocreatine and non responders as <10 mmol/kg dry weight increase, a third group labeled quasi responders were also used to classify participants who fell in between the previously mentioned groups (10-20 mmol/kg dry weight).

^^^you'd have to measure your intramuscular creatine and phosphocreatine stores. If you tend to gain weight on creatine and lose it when you come off you're probably a responder or quasi-responder according to the criteria above but it's not as accurate a method of determine which group you fall into.

Its been proven effective time over. The price is very affordable now so I think its
a great supplement. I use it typically OFF cycle for an extra natural boost in performance.

Yes you can get creatine naturally from fish and meat , every doctor might tell you ' there's no need to take 5g a day of it as you get it naturally' but go and ask your doctor this .... " hey Dr.bigballs , if i take 5g of creatine mono hydrate a day will it make my muscles look more pumped" .... And i bet you he rips his top off slaps his balls on the table and tells you to hump his pumped biceps .

Found this study a few days ago and thought it was interesting:

That's interesting and to bi honest the first I've heard of it. I wonder how much if any significance this has? Time to do some digging. Thanks for the lead.

Is likely the other way around. Those with decreased kidney and liver function have pre-existing issues that are exacerbated by creatine. In otherwise healthy adults it is safe for use.

I was thinking the same thing, and i don't think it would since test needs to be substantially raised for prolonged periods of time to have any real effect. Might attribute to a very small amount of actual extra muscle gain over time at best.

Only if predisposed to it. Some will never have issues with high dht. Remember, dht is everywhere in your body except muscle and is vitally important. It gets a bad rap and really shouldn't.

Water retention is where the anabolic effect of creatine comes from. More intramuscular glycogen = better ATP synthesis = more reps basically.
