    chromium picolnate - should i take it?

    My friend gave me an unopened bottle of chromium picolnate he didn't want and it expires in 5 months. I'm on a bulk right now, should i take it or just throw it out? Are there any benefits i could get out of this, ive heard mixed reviews about this one.
