    whey protein so many choices whats the best

    Im taking whey isolate from optimum nutrition I need to know if anyone has a better protein and why you think its better. thanks for your opinions I think I need something better but there is so many to choose from I guess I will admit id rather be working out then researcing protein.

    All on the taste mainly. Stay away from the garbage that has too many carbs.


    I am starting to pull away from the powders as much as possible and stick to only real food.

    fwiw, i use ISO XP Whey Isolate during the day, and Complete Casein (CytoSport) at night.

    Agree. Find the cheapest Whey Isolate and go with that. I go with the isolate, the most expensive type, cuz my woman doesn't agree with me that I'm a cute little fart!

    I actually prefer the kind they carry at costco over anything else i have ever tried. I believe its muscle milk brand, here is a pic of it, although i get the chocolate kind. It doesn't have any added shit, tastes pretty good to drink, and makes the best whey pancakes ever. Also cheap of course, since its costco, although admittedly you can find cheaper online.

    You can't go wrong with ON. I like their pro complex myself. But right now my appetite is through the roof so I'd rather have real food. The cheap stuff is fine too. I used the stuff at sams for a long time and would've stuck with it but didn't care much for the taste.

    ON gold standard and Serious mass are my favorites, have been wanting to try proComplex but every time I look at my wallet I change my mind. Last time I bought an 8kg tub of Matrix's stuff. Basically sugar and a bunch of carbs but tastes okay and my wallet likes it, def not a long term option though
