yea it has been like that for a while just make sure you use a quality product with a good name and you shouldn't have much problem
Dymatize has a good nam but a bad protein i was shocked when i heard about their carbs issues !
MusclePharm also has a good name but they just came out of court with arrangement ! Met-RX too
the only way to know what you eating and paying for is LAB TEST, i'm going to get my stuff tested and get back to the forum
let us know how that goes! I use Optimum nutrition I seen good test on them but I would be interested on seeing a personal test. However one thing iv noticed tho is some companies are amino spiking using other cheaper ingredients that will test the same as protein

the best way to know what you are getting is food but some days i just don't meet my protein goals and the added supps in powders help as well

A russian guy Got the ON Gold standard tested, the only protein it contains is whey (Ratio isolate/concentrate remains unknown) the protein content, however, is 0.8% lower than claimed (i guess it's clean). the claimed amino profile is confirmed. the only way to test the amino spiking is to test the amino profile against a pure whey.

Amino Spiking has came to my attention in recent months after I watched a Mark Marc Lobliner video to the point I don't even take any protein anymore. I'm all for the deregulation of industry but it appears that the FDA really needs to step in here because supplement companies are flat out lying
to there customers. I really wish I could afford to buy all kinds of protein from the supplement shop in the local area and take it to a lab to see who is legit and who is not.
I have a bulk coming up and I'm going to see how well I do with just food. Yay!!--more chicken breasts..
matrix did you ever get yours tested?
You can tell if a product is amino spiked by looking at the ingredients
a friend of mine got it tested in Russia. the test costs a fortune to reveal the actual amino acid profile. the Test showed that Amino Profile correspond to 100% whey protein without any added free Aminos. however the Protein concentration what 1-2% less than claimed.
also i remember seen a report from a retailer also claiming it's Good to go.
in many countries the FDA conduct label checks and other safety checks

No you can't. if you can read it on the Label that means is out of the protein content. so if they said 40g protein that mean the 40g is protein ONLY.
check my new post : musclepharm caught red handed :
