Protein aftertaste

Have you guys ever run across a protein powder that doesn't make your tongue taste like you've been french kissing a horses ass? I cannot find a protein powder that doesn't leave a horrible aftertaste. I've found several that taste wonderful while drinking, but in about 30 minutes or so begin to have an awful aftertaste. Is this just me?

Yes you are weird for knowing what french kissing a horses ass tastes like..nonethless that is nothing mts cookies and cream whey can't fix...Or syntha 6 chocolate peanut butter..(probably not the best macro wise with the syntha 6 but still)...

you are right, MOST if not ALL powder tastes like sh*t, but the after taste i dont know

Syntha-6 is probably the best tasting powder I've run across, but still, 30 minutes later.... awful aftertaste.

try drinking water after you finish it maybe that's why I don't taste anything because I drink a shake and a bottle of water and eat something with carbs

X2. Vanilla is good but my favorite is Extreme Milk Chocolate. Don't ever buy Double Rich Chocolate as it sucks. I sent a 10 lb bag of it back and they exchanged it for me, thankfully.

X3 Vanilla Optimum Nutrition. I use milk and add some ice cubes to keep things cold as I shake. Its pretty damn delicious. Dymatize iso100 is also amazing tasting.

Sounds like I'll be giving Optimum Nutrition Vanilla a go for my next order. I'll have to let you guys know how it goes.

If you have a Costco or similar near you try there. They have a six lb bag that's the same cost as the 5 lb bag if ordered on line. Obviously no shipping as well.

Awesome, there's a Costco near my parents. I don't have a membership by my father does, and I share the same name so I'll borrow his card and swing by there. Probably buy a couple bags.

Most are horrific. I use Synthepure whey isolate exclusively. Its great in water or milk and
you can flavor to your personal liking.

That's just the thing, I've had many proteins that taste wonderful at first but leave a terrible aftertaste.
