    Fatburner and pre workout

Hello! Was reading that it's not a good idea to take fat burners and pre workouts together due to stimulants. How would I take both then?

I have Nutrabolics Supernova that I've taken for a long time, 1-2 scoops 15 minutes before workout.
I also am going to try Nutrabolics Thermal XTC which says 10-15 minutes before a workout. What should I do? Thanks!

Imho, I'd dump the pre workout in favor of real food. Personally, I eat 2.5 hours prior to working out and that has always worked better for me than a "pre-workout." Now I do like a whey shake immediately after working out due to whey's bioavailability. If you were to try that then you're freed up to run your "fat burner" whenever you want.

I usually take pre-workouts but when i started an ECY (ephedrine/caffeine/yohimbine) stack i stopped since it was enough stimulation for a workout anyway and i didn't want to over do the caffeine due to the stimulant side effects i get at higher doses.

It completely depends on your fat burner and your pre-wotkout. IE if your preworkout just has caffeine as the primary stimulant and you start taking a thermo that's only really caffeine and some ECGC or something it's just going to be a bigger hit of caffeine.

I'd recommend stopping the pre-workout while you start the fat burner and if you feel it's easily tolerable then start the pre-workout again at half the dose (if you want to).

    Compare the ingredients and strengths

Try each one individualy, then maybe try both but at low/half amounts

Drop the "fat burner" and instead improve your diet, slowly reduce calories and/or increase gym time. If you eat a solid meal prior to working out there is no need for a "pre workout." The "anabolic window" has already been disproved by Brad Schoenfeld, PhD. As long as you have aminos floating in your blood stream, you have about a 4hr window. If its been longer then that then a good whey isolate immediately following your workout will suffice, if its been less than 4hours then there is no need to hurry, just eat when you get home. I don't use a pre workout but I do like to sip on BCAAs fruit punch as I workout. If you feel that you need to be wired to workout then drink a strong cup of coffee. -Cheers
