Creatine monohydrate is superior to all.

Here is a very good article analyzing it against the other "designer" forms.

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...rticle_874.pdf

I keep my dose at 5g daily. -Cheers

No... Try it and see, do it for 2months straight and see for your self. I did 20g before workout and 20grams after workout then got lazy and took it all at once.

TBH its the only time I got complements while on that dose every day. Its so cheap who cares.

I hope you're drinking PLENTY of water...creatine is highly taxing on renal function. Found this out the hard way, backed up w/ BW. Don't get me wrong, creatine mono is some great stuff, but use it correctly. 40-50g a day is dangerous, imho.

I have no desire to try that....When I used to load creatine I'd do it at 15 grams a day until I got the shits, then I knew I was saturated. It usually took about 3 days. No matter how cheap it is I have no need to take in a large amount of a substance so that I can shit it back out...lol

If you are taking a creatine blend you need to really analyze and pay attention to the ingredients. Proprietary blend creatine mixes are mostly all shit imho. Some say they have 10g/ scope (or more) of creatine but when you start to break the blend ingredients out and do the math its not even close.

Best bet is just to get pure creatine monohydrate and take that. That way you know exactly what you are taking and how much. If its a micronized form even better.

    -Cheers

    We have used them ALL.
MONOHYDRATE is what I would choose.

Examine is arguably the best, unbiased vitamin / supplement site out there, imho.

From reading the link kelkel posted you get creatine from meat fish and eggs, so is there any point in consuming powdered version? I think id rather stick to food, water and a pre workout / caffeine

It's difficult to get 5 gr of creatine from food! 1 kg of raw red meat contains 4.5 gr of creatine. When you cook it,it loses 30%.So we need to eat like 2 kg of cooked red meat for 5 gr of creatine!
