    DHEA vs steroids

Some may consider DHEA, a prohormone, to be a steroid, since it is a precursor to testosterone.

How does DHEA compare to steroids for muscle growth?

DHEA is actually a steroid, although it's referred to as a precurser for obvious reasons. It does not take the place of nor will it compare to AAS for growth. Keeping levels optimized (or chol pathways flowing) is always a good idea whether on a cycle or TRT. To much can cause estrogen issues and a reduction in your HDL.

In other words, there's no substitute for AAS.

Well, that would depend on blood work. I personally use 50 mgs once per day in the morning. This is based on BW and I check it every time. If you do supplement spend the extra money and purchase a micronized product, which will get it through the first pass of the liver and be more effective for you.

prone even on the strongest combinations. I wont use DHEA again myself.

Interesting Alin. Your pathways must be converting the majority of it to estrogen. What was your dosage?
