Thread: Peptides, a few questions.

    Peptides, a few questions.

I've recently been looking into peptides(ghrp-6, ipamorelin) and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with them, as I'm just compiling info. I'd prefer info on their use exclusively (without aas involvement)

    1. What peptides have been cycled, and what were the gains, muscle or otherwise?

    2. As they are legal, where were they purchased from? I feel like the internet is a sketchy place, and I'm not injecting unknown garbage into my body.

    3. I use intermittent fasting protocols, has anyone tried this while using peptides? I feel like they would greatly compliment IF, due to waiting periods before/after use.

I'll just keep this post brief for now, as those are my main concerns. Any and all advice and info is greatly appreciated!

First off, Peptide hormones/chemicals are drugs, more info generally discussed here: IGF-1 LR3, HGH, and INSULIN QUESTIONS (pardon the out of date forum title).
Only the elite (super-natural) athlete with high sex hormones might consider usage of ghrp (growth hormone releasing hormone) and expect benefit/value from the product. Ipamorelin will surely do nothing for a natty hobbyist gym-goer and you'd be extremely hard pressed to notice any anti-aging effects from that subtle ghrp. GHRP-6 on the other hand, if you're a natural string bean ectomorph, possibly stimulating your ghrelin may aid in calorie consumption & therefore clue you in to what it'll take to add mass. Bottom line is growth hormone peptides are for those on hormone replacement therapy => fat soluble hormones before the water soluble (testosterone and/or aas are prerequisites for effective peptide hormone experimentation).
Peptide hormones are legally scribed (all too often) by quack doctors who generally shill snake oil such as sermorelin & peptide blends (generally purchasing from criminal compounding pharmacies and/or research chemical suppliers) as they are unable to ethically give anti-aging/bb'ers what they what (ie.: rHGH). If you harbor such feelings about the internet I recommend you working to network with a high risk doctor who will perhaps monitor/evaluate your hormones and consider giving an rx for hgh - but of course, all this hassle is for none had you not have involvement with aas.
Peptide hormones (ghrp/ghrh) suck because they do require more rigorous timing for their brief bioactive life and they'll tire you out quick given the amount of administrations they require (maybe while not feeding yourself you'd have the diligence/desire to inject cheap & hardly effective growth factors...just don't buy into the hgh fragments I beg you...lol).
Hope I didn't entirely rain on your parade Shiga, these are just one man's opinion.

Thanks for the info vette! From what I've been reading so far, they do seem to somewhat borderline the snake oil category. The only info I can find about peptide gains is from sites that sell them, always a big turn off for me. Ghrp 6 would benefit me, as I am "bulking up", but as I have no problem shoving food down my throat, it would just be a waste of cash.

I have found some possibly credible info on cjc 1295 dac combined with ghrp and igf 1. But, I would like to hear of credible results before turning my body into a literal pin cushion.

To set the record straight, ghrp's and some ghrh's are great peptide hormones...as the are cheap and typically quality - flip side is they are a PITA to administer (given the high frequency of injection) & they require the user to be already on AAS/TRT...(jmho).

Now when you say there's possibly credible info on legit CJC-1295 (w/ DAC), this is concerning - I often think that's crap bc taking huge dosages of the long acting (& expensive + difficult to synthesize) ghrh can leave you tired, bloated and/or lethargic. IGF-1 (polypeptide analogues) are junk...so combined with anything, I would discredit the source.
