    Not responsive to supplements?

I've tried taking different supplements to help me in lifting and what not but they seem to have little to no effect on me. I have noticed over the years that my body is pretty un-responsive to drugs; caffine/pain killers/sugar has little to no effects on me and does not make me feel any different. I've never had a 'sugar rush' or anything close. I've taken 2 scoops of preworkout, 800 mg of caffine, in one go and nothing. No increased in heart beat or racing feeling. Could I have an issue with things getting into my blood steam?

So you think I am not feeling the effects because I am not taking enough dosage? I am not really willing to take more than 2 scoops of pre workout lol. After surgery I took oxycotten and another pain killer, they did not effect me in the slightest and drove on them etc.. I was reading the 4 hour body book and he mentions that a lot of what we consume doesnt get into the blood stream etc; and that l glut might help.

NO do not take more. More isn't always better.

Your tolerance is better for things. Life sucks haha.

How much caffeine, sugar "uppers" do u have in a day?
You might have built a tolerance to this stuff. Also how long have u been taking the pre workout?

The majority of supplements out there are just a placebo effect if anything,,and there are some supps where there are on non-responders (CREATINE)

Caffine? Other than pre-workout which I rarely take due to little effect, 0 mg
Sugar; as little as possible to 0, trying out ketosis
Due to injury in the past, was on a boat load of ibuprofen and what not and also had no effect on me, advil and other medicine doesnt do anything to me either.

I am the same way... any type of otc medicine or supplement might as well be a sugar pill. I do feel something from pre workout thought. But energy drinks... I’ve fallen asleep with a monster in my hand before.

It takes me forever to feel the effects of aas too. I think it’s crazy people take dbol as a preworkout... there’s no way I would ever notice it. Even though people say they feel orals instantly it takes me a solid two weeks of using them to feel anything.

I take over 40 pills a day, and then lots of powders on top... I don't "feel" anything from most of them, a lot of them are for longevity and a properly functioning body, some people say I have very expensive urine.

Things that I've taken which made a significant and noticeable difference:
Creatine 5g+ a day: I blow up, I have more endurance, I can do more reps.
Citrulline 10g+Arginine 2g before soccer: I don't get gassed as easily, it's really strong
500ml Beet Root juice 1-2h before soccer/cardio: In my opinion superior to Citrulline and Arginine, I can run harder for longer
Collagen 10g+Vitamin C: I have lots of injuries, chronic pain for the last 10 years. I started Collagen+Vitamin C about 6 months ago and gradually the pain got better, to the point that several injuries are almost not noticeable now. I don't know for sure it was the collagen but... the theory is that I've strengthened the tendons and ligaments in my joints and spinal column.
Caffeine: Little bit helps, too much makes me jittery. Technically it's a drug though, if we're gonna include drugs we might as well through Cialis in here, great for endurance.

In my practice, I have encountered the habituation of the body to certain substances with their constant intake. Many supplements require a break, otherwise the body gets used to it and the dosage has to be increased. And this is very bad. The addiction does not develop from all substances, but the body definitely gets used to caffeine and requires an ever larger dose.
