    Caffeine and anabolic effect

    Hey all!

    I had some time to consume caffeine and got 2 caps(400mg) and it hit the sweet spots in 10 minutes.So I decided to share with you all the goodies about caffeine with this ncbi post you should read if you already haven't!

    Caffeine is by far my favorite ingredient in a supplyment but in a preworkout formula we get so much junk and stimulants that in the depth of time they can cause problems like heart disease etc etc. Most preworkouts have like 400mg caffeine PLUS stimulants which as a combo not only they raise cortisol in levels you don't want but also they are just too much to handle.
    In my own opinion one should use caffeine and a non stimulant preworkout with alot of citrulline if he is in the chase of pumps!
    Would love to hear your opinions and experiences in the subject!

    The mix between caffeine and other stimulants, which might be good for fat burning, can be a bit much as you say.
    I remember when 1,3-DMA was legal, I felt it was an ok stim but tried to avoid getting in to much caffeine with it.

    Notice that with other stims too,
    It really doesn't take much caffeine to amplify their side effects.

    Caffeine solo is another matter though,
    but when I'm tired i sometimes have trouble getting much effect from it at all,
    and if I do, it's at a dose where side effects also manifest.

    As an ergogenic I don't really think caffeine has much of a positive impact.
    It can make you workout when you'd otherwise sleep, but freeing up testosterone vs cortisol... I lean towards it being neutral for muscle growth.

    Caffeine also restricts the blood vessels which we want as much blood in that muscle as possible... everything is ok in moderation but I've noticed when all caffiened up my veins don't pop like they should - citruline and arginine are vasodilators which open up the blood vessels - much more optimal

    Btw - coffee black is ok!(in moderation) lol

    Coffee is like non alcoholic beer, tastes good but doesn't do much besides giving you a sour stomach.

    Gonna get me some arginine right now actually... get as in drop down 5grams.
    Found 500grams l-arg and 500g of arg AKG lying in a hidden place.
    It has expired but still good.
    Not gonna buy ArgAKG no more as there ain't a single study backing it I've found, and even one that states it actually hinders progress.
    (I'm skeptical it's much different from straight Arg, but why use it?)

    You have any links that provide this information? It would be really good info to read!

    Doc I have used hcl arginine 4gr a day 2 at morning and 2 at night.meh.some veins popped but not much.I am not a big fan of arginine as I am with citrulline and citrulline malate. I find them really better and of course for N.O. what is better than the good ol' beetroot .

    I prefer caffeine as a stim even more when I am well splept and not all days.I always use caffeine as a little salt in my workouts rather than something I take in all my workout days.
    Prefer to workout with no stims.

    how about some Taurine folks?
    In past two and half months I began taking some 4-5g in AM and PM, I too feel my veins pop alot more and usually feel easier pumped when lifting

    I use taurine every day, but hasn't even thought about it causing pumps.
    It's just a great supp for overall health.

    Arg and citrulline, yeah citrulline might be a bit better.
    Used it everyday before too, but now I'm out and just started with arginine after a long break from all NOx. So I'll see if I see any big difference.

    I'm also interested in nitrates for pump.

    But maybe, after being spoiled by cialis I won't exactly be wow'ED by any of it,
    because I ain't wow'ed by cialis on pumps yet.
    I've just used it for blood pressure and general health, of which it does wow me.
    But I'm not on any cialis or such now.

    400mg caffeine in one go is overkill. Half that should be sufficient.

    TBH, I find it efficacy diminishes the more I have. If I lay off it a while and then use it can be a wonderful thing. That and 5-10mg cialis makes an excellent pre workout 'stack'.

    Even if I don't take caffeine on a daily basis less than that never really makes me feel anything.Maybe it's me :P. I have heard alot for cialis.Must be a really good pw
