How to make the best shake with real food

I'm new here and I'm sure this has been discussed but I don't know where to find it so I'm just gonna ask? I feel protein shakes may help me get in all my carbs protein and calories I try to do it with just food but I work 10hrs in the heat as an ironworker and I really don't want a commercial protein powder so my question is what all should I add to the blender to make a quality shake for pre work out, Post work out, and during the day between meals when at work times and issue or it just to hot to put down solid food

Any advice or recipes will be greatly appreciated

Avacodos, fruit, Greek yogurt (fat free or 2% or whole), egg whites, chia, flax, hemp seeds , hemp protein, oatmeal, nanas, peas (frozen thawed, not canned), cooked rice, etc.

    The imagination can run wild.

I like hemp seed, blueberry, and peas and egg whites.

Just measure accordingly, and fit the shakes to meal time macros.

Wouldn't a quality protein powder just be easier for you? Especially considering your longer work hours.....

I use ON as well. No need to add to it unless looking to make it more of a meal as well. After a workout I'll often times add a banana, peanut butter, low fat ice cream and creatine.

Check out muscle feast or myprotein.com

They have unflavored versions and stevia-sweetened version and are way cheaper than that on
