Recently found out about Berberine, it seems way too good to be true, I imagine I'm late to the party here and most of you already know about it, is that true?

It controls blood glucose just as good as Metformin.
It controls LDL as well as oral lipid lowering drugs, but is better at lowering TG's and raising HDL.
It lowers blood pressure.
It has no serious side effects (it can give you gas).

How much do you guys take per day? Anything I should know about it in general (like drug interactions etc)?
