Natural high sources of proteins ?
Hi,
which high protein natural food would you recommend for the diet of a weight lifter ?
I'm counting on Oats + soy milk, but what else do you guys take when you prefer to "keep it natural" ?

I think soy is questionable becuase I have heard it messes with estrogen.
What do you mean by natural? Vegitarian? I hope not.
Natural Foods:
Chicken Breasts, Salmon, Tuna, Turkey Breast
Peanut Butter, Nuts, Quality Beef cuts.

Thanks for your answer.
On no ! I didn't meant vegetarian !!
I just want some "natural" stuff I can easily mix after my training to bring proteins to the tired muscles !

Well, the point of my message was to try to find alternative "natural" food instead of whey stuff.
I know they are good, but I just want to see if I can mix something on my own.

I am not sure but I think egg whites would be best because they will be processed faster and get the protien in there quickly which is what you need post workout.
