Almost killed my wife weight lose stack.

So my wife has been taking Synephrine, yobine, EGCG, to help her drop a few pounds. She takes these in the morning before doing some cardio. She has been doing this for about 12 weeks now.
Well last Friday she took the stack, but didn't workout which she has done in the past. She also drank one cup of coffee and took some over the counter Mucinex D. The only thing different here was the mucinex because she had caught my cold. She proceeded to get ready for work and while doing her hair she felt like she was going to pass out, so she steadied herself on the counter, but it didn't pass. So she went and sat down on the couch and it got worse. She started to sweat, couldn't breathe, felt like someone was standing on her chest, and both shoulders started to hurt. She texted a friend by mistake first then texted our daughter who is an ER nurse. When our daughter called her back and she told her the symptoms she said she was calling 911. Of course my wife being stubborn said no. So our daughter called her husband who was home about 5 miles away and is in school to become a nurse and is an ER tech. He got the grandson in the car and started driving over and called her. Once he heard her voice and how she was feeling he called 911. Once he got there he tried to check her pulse but it was to fast to even count. The ambulance arrived and hooked her up ... pulse was 221 BPM {Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT)}. They gave her 6mg of Adenosine to try and stop her heart and get proper rhythm back, that didn't work so they gave her 12mg. That worked and brought her pulse back to around 120 BPM.
Long story short they ran ever test known to man kind on her. No blood clot to the lungs (lungs healthy has never smoked) did an ultra sound electrocardiogram of her heart nothing wrong, took her in and did a Cardiac catheterization no blockage. So there was nothing wrong with her except she didn't come out of the SVT and all blood work indicated she had a heart attack.
Now the question of the day. Did the Mucinux D mixed with the stack cause the SVT? Docs don't know what caused it.
So if you get a cold don't mix these.

    Yes most likely!

Mucinex is has ephedrine and the combo with the other stimulants is horrible on a heart.
This is why I warn about ephedrine so sharply.
A normal dose can cause palpitations. An overdose can cause stroke or heart attack.

    Its no toy.
I hope she recovers well. Sorry to hear.

I'm defo to have to agree with Obs. I have a prior cardiac history and on several heart meds. I took Mucinex DM max and my BP is normally fairly well controlled with carvedilol, a combo alpha/beta blocker and candesartan, an ARB.
After 5 days of use of DM max my BP skyrocketed to 180+/110+ range and I had several episodes of atrial fibrillation (a feeling I know all too well).
Ended up speaking with my pharmacist and she said to ditch the DM max and just go w/ regular Mucinex/guafenesin. It wasn't contraindicated by any of my meds, but she said some people can't tolerate it and high BP and atrial fibrillation could be very possible.
It could be that your wife would've have a bad reaction to this medication anyway, and the stimulants may have further exacerbated it.

I can take 50 mg of ephedrine and give it to you with the right enrgy drinks and make you tremor all day.

Ephedrine is so complex in the way it acts on the body mixing it with any expectorant can be very bad.

Your urine acidity from drinking soda or an energy drinks with high amounts of inorganic acid literally can double the half life of ephedrine and you can inadvertently hold its effects at their peak for many hours this way.

Yohimbine is a vasodialator or constrictor depending on how much is taken. It iis very diverse as well and interacts strangely with other drugs. I know much less about yohimbine.

I hear about people stacking ecy instead of eca and I think they are nuts. There is literally no telling how you will respond to either until you do it.
Each compound is so diverse that either one could be successfully used on its own.

You take both of these wildcard compounds and throw an energy drink into the mix and shit might not be good.

It comes.natural once you get past 50 years old.

Edit: Just to clarify, being a dick comes natural, swordfighting defo doesn't.

I had four hours of severe palpitations a few days ago, but didn't take any Mucinex, though everything sounds similar to me. I had so much caffeine and did so much cardio that day. The palpitations didn't start until an hour after starting. Probably going to cut back severely on the caffeine. I had a free sample of a preworkout (Finaflex Stimul-8), which has beta-alanine, caffeine, egcg, theobromine, l-phenylalanine, guayasa, theacrine, and rauwolfia vomitoria. Not sure if any of that is similar to what's in Mucinex
