    Greens Drink Supplements

    Good Evening Everybody,

I was curious what your thoughts are on a greens supplement to help with adding in more greens for the day as well as digestive support and a multivitamin replacement? There is a product called Nutrigen made by Morphogen Nutrition. He makes good products and has 3rd party testing for all of his products. I attached pictures of the ingredients list. My question is do you think it’s a waste if I’m already eating 3-4 servings of veggies a day or could it be a benefit from the added digestive support and other ingredients that are included? Thanks for the responses.

Bro, get a nice salad bowl with all of them green leaves, put tomatoes, cucumber and maybe even throw some broccoli and you got that covered up!
And if u r too lazy to make a salad, wash them vegetables and throw it in a Tupper and keep them on your desk and you will not forget to eat them.
No need to taste your money on such supplements.

This is just my personal opinion; I always prefer eating the food than drinking it

There are good green based powders on the market. The picture you listed is unfortunately not one of them. 3-4 servings of veggies is not sufficient to cover the micro nutrition spectrum so a powder would supplement well. To get away from a powder you'd be looking at between 9-11 servings of vegetables which isn't practical for most people.

The problem with the powder you linked is you are paying for bad vitamins. The B vitamins are not methylated which means they are in the inactive form. Inactive and low bioavailability vitamins have to pass through the liver (assuming you even have epigentics to recognize inactive vitamins in the first place), then it gets activated, then gets used. The result is a fraction of a fraction of a dose, again assuming you even have the correct genetics to recognize inactive vitamins (most people don't). The other vitamins are also in poor forms (calcium carbonate is useless).

Third party testing for these types of supplements only becomes useful if the company is willing to provide you the mass spec report as welll as the certification of analysis by providing a batch number. I did this myself and then it gives the peace of mind.

    Good Brands to check out

    - Equilibrium Nutrition
    - thorne research
    - whole earth and sea (natural factors line)

there's 2-3 other big ones in the US I forget unfortunately.
I no longer check my inbox. If you PM me I will not reply.
