how muck protein in chicken and steak
every label seems to tells a different story reguarding the amount of protein it contains. some have 4oz of chicken having only 20grams some 32. ground beef and steaks have the same problem. i am trying to eat
300-350 a day so i cont them every few days to make sure i getting there. what amounts do find these items to contain in protein
4oz chicken
4oz ground round/beef
4oz lean steak

Next to nothing!!!!!! What? From Lean Steak you definitely get your protein. Sirloin tips, pork chops, rib eye, that's all good sources.

Sorry,my dumb ass was thinking carbs as I was finishing my diet.For 6oz. chick breast you are looking at 54gm. protein and 280 cals.And for all those red meats you are looking at or around 44gm.pro and 430 cals.that is going to be for the leaner red meats

I figure it as 25% of the uncooked weight of most meat is protein. One lb of beef = 454 grams, say about a fourth is protein, that would be right at 110 grams. Half a lb would be 55. Chicken, fish, beef, it's close enough for government work. Dunno about pork, though, haven't checked that . . .

Can't give you the exact amount but the package will tell you, if a serving size is 6oz and 18g then 4oz would be about 14g and so on.
