Whats wrong with GNC? Also, please help with NO2
Are there better places to buy stuff like Cell-Tech and NO2? I get celltech for around 50 bucks a tub and i figured it would cost that much anyway from an online store after shipping. Also, i buy oddyssey bars for about 20 bucks a box on gold card week. i think that is reasonable.
Also, i am thinking of starting to take NO2. Which brand do you prefer, MRI, Pinnacle, or Nitrix? Also, should i add it to what i'm already taking, which is Cell-tech, GNC 100% whey, and Oddyssey Protein bars? I was thinking that I should probably drop to a cheaper creatine if i was going to take NO2, because I have not seen any changes whatsoever b/c of Celltech over the past few months. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Nothing is wrong with GNC really, just don't go by anything that the sales people say, because most of them don't know crap about what they're selling. Also, get a membership and only by things during the first week of the month. I get my whey protein there as well as a few other things, but I won't by anything unless its during the time I can get the discount. Even then, you can still find it cheaper on the net. I just hate to wait for anything in the mail if I can help it. If there was a VitaminShoppe near me, I would go there. But once again, you can't really trust what the sales people say.
As far as the No2, and stuff, I don't waste my money supplimenting what I can eat, except for protein.

One of the employees actually did me good though, by suggesting oddyssey bars instead of the detour bars because of the trans fat content (hydrogenated oils). However, i can't believe that there is very much of the hydrogenated oils in the bars and i think the dude was just trying to sound like he knew what he was doing.

Don't waste your time and money with GNC. They are overpriced and most of their products are just crap. You'll find better deals in the web, even though you have to wait longer for the shipping.
NO2 are only good in powder form which is made of Arginine. NO2 is Arginine, its cheaper and you could feel the difference.

I've always been FOR GNC. They've been good to me. If you know your ****, you don't need the help of a Customer Service rep. Do some research at home then go get your crap.

It'd be nice if their were other stores like GNC, but its the only major chain i know of...this is why they charge higher prices, no real competition other then mom and pop nutrition stores.

You sell 7 lb cell-tech for 52.49 plus shipping, and i get it for about 55 bucks which is cheaper considering the shipping for a 7 lb tub... Also, the protein bars at GNC are cheaper as well. After doing some research on different websites, ive found that GNC prices are reasonable ONLY during the first week. Now Vitamin World on the other hand...... they are a rip.

This is similar to a tip in the restaraunt, for good service (that is a debate for another older thread). You get the same steak, but the extras really count. We get the service of this board...what's a couple of extra bucks?Last edited by Swellin; 01-27-2004 at 01:42 PM.

Jason, the reason he was able to get stuff so cheap is that certain Muscle-Tech products (i.e. 7lb Cell Tech) are 20% off and when you add the 20% Gold Card discount it's not too shabby. What are you gonna do if you run out and it's the 3rd week of the month? Go with ASN, you won't be sorry. Mark.

I herd alot of good rep about Universals NOX3 and Pinnacles NO2 so try to search it online dude trust me youll get your **** way cheaper. I dont know i never had a problem with GNC except their extreme prices on things lol. And there is another store like GNC but its only in Arizona called Hi-Health

I I ordered 2 bottles of nox2 from an online store... i wouldve ordered from ASN with my protein to save shipping but they only have the 90 cap bottles

38 servings for $50+ dollars. I would have to question that spending over using any micronized creatine (sometimes with 1200 servings -AST ) and adding 75 grams Dextrose. Way cheaper.

i would say next time after you finish up with your cell tech this dose i'd go with taking whatever brand NO2 you ended up with, takin alittle more than they recommend and hammerin down Nitrotech protein bars and/or the protein powder if you can afford it. i'm a big fan of the nitrotech products to this day and fooled around with cell tech for a while not too long ago and as soon as you run out you can notice yourself peeing out the water weight day by day. id also taken the NO2 and nitrotech at the same time as some glutamine each day and was surprised and impressed with the legal results

I thought all whey proteins were the same... im gonna go with prorated cuz i just bought some... i heard that no2-creatine-glutamine work pretty good together.

I use the MRI NO2. I like the pumps and fast recovery. I have never juiced, so I cannot compare it to that type of recovery. With the gold card, GNC is the cheapest place to get it, and right now most GNC's have the book to go with it for $1. Has some good tips. Main one for you, cycle off the creatine for 10 days when you first start the NO2.

NO2='s junk. GNC is full of customer service that knows not a **** thing about bodybuilding. I am sure there are some there that know their stuff but the huge majority doesnt. Do research and get your own answers it will save you money in the long run.

i used nox2 first from pinnacle and it was alright, but then i switched to nitrix from bsn and i really like how i feel on it...to me it really keeps me feeling pumped long after a workout, a friend was on trac and i got him to try nitrix and he said the same things back to me about feeling pumped up and his workouts were somewhat better...

I've been using nox2 for about a week now and have noticed barely anything.... I hope it takes longer than that b/c i bought 2 bottles. I think i am experiencing slight vasodilation, but not like i expected. Maybe when i start to cycle on creatine again i will see greater gains.

I donno, just on these few things GNC is WAAAAAAY over priced. Also here is a new one: Walmart Super Centers sell 5 lbs german high quality creatine
for $13, GNC sells comparable quality creatine 5 lbs = $59. Walmart sells flax seed oil 1 gram gel caps 200 pill count for $1.99; GNC sells 100 pill count for $16. L-Arginine 1 gram pills 500 count at walmart - $3; at GNC 200 count 1/2 gram pills = $29.
Its like come on, even with 20% off its still 500% more expensive then everywhere else.

I go to a GNC that also has a VITAMIN WORLD in the same mall. Since they are competing stores; at the beginning of each month for the first week the entire store is 30% off. I go and get 4 cases of isopure bottles each month for $2.45 a bottle for the 40 grammers!!
