Nitrotech and Meso tech bars are expensive, so I wait until GNC puts them on sell. This is usually when they are just about out of date. I was wondering if the experation date has anything to do with the protien content? Does the age of the bar have any effect on the protien?
I used to buy expired bars on ebay for real cheap. I have found that the expiration probably will not affect the protein but it definitely has an effect on the taste and texture.
Also, shop around different GNC's.. Some give you 20% off on gold week and others give 30% off.
The Meso/Nitro-Tech bars are usually 28 bucks a box before the discount when they are fresh (3 bucks a bar and 20% off for buying the box), and 30% more on gold week makes them about 19 bucks which is a decent price for 12 bars. adds up to about $1.50 a bar.
I personally prefer oddyssey and lean body labrada bars muuuch more and im looking forward to trying the new pure protein triple layer bars.... yummm
