ASN search engine.
Well basically it sucks and it just might be keeping you from selling products.
I was looking for Creatine xtreme and couldnt find it when I looked for creatine products. I went to the search button and luckily remembered the name of it and it came up.
I was looking for weight gainers in the search button and Champion xtra something didnt come up but it came up under a main search and then in a sub category.
I then looked for cytomax and had to reroute just to find a certain product there.
Basically: If I didnt already buy these products previously, I wouldnt have known you sold them because the search button (and or) main category searches dont pull ALL of your items up.
Many descriptions and pictures of the products dont come up either. IE: servings, weight, calories, etc.
Most of the products I bought are based on what I already know about them so it keeps me leashed to those products which I do NOT like doing.
By no means is this a slam. I just dont want to go to another site to find the products I want to use and find descriptions and pictures of.
Its just beginning to seem like ASN is focusing on pushing its USUAL weekly ad items. I know thats how business' work. They get discounts on buying paticular items in bulk and pass on the savings to the buyer, but when those items are the SAME weekly items for half a year.......

Couldn't you have just PM'd me?
DISCLAIMER: Me and Bermich are cool with each other, but I want to put him on the spot like he put me on the spot. What I'm about to say is not meant to be critical or harsh to him, but I've got to jab him back a little bit too.
Ok, here is the situation and you can tell me how to make a quick fix. All Sports Nutrition has 10,000 items that we sell. I am the one and only one in charge of making sure the products have descriptions, pictures are up, constantly add new items, and delete old items, and make sure all products are categorized, etc... However I also help out with shipping, keep anabolic review up and going, taking phone orders, and launching new websites on a continuous basis, did I mention the message board (?). Hiring a new employee is not going to happen right now. How do I fix it?
In all honesty, I totally agree with you. It simply comes down to, I don't have time to do it all. I honestly am working on 3 different websites at any one time and have to put aside a set number of hours each day for each project. Every day it is improving, even though you may not realize it. It is just a long, slow process. We are hoping for rapid growth in the company soon, and if that happens, I believe we will be able to get me some more help. For the time being though, it is slow moving. Do me a favor and when you see something out of place or missing something, let me know. I will focus on that problem immediately. But for now I just have too many things happening at once to get it done by next week. Plus I'm hooked on the message board like everyone else, which makes it hard to work. lol
Keep keeping me on my toes bro. I need someone to let me know what needs to be done around here. I want to constanly make this a better place for customers, and I truly do value your input. You know I value your input.
Thanks bro

Jason, as long as its a gradual process of bettering I'm okay, I dont like stagnation...BTW Im sending in another large order today, send me a present(multiple presentS are cooler)...HAHAHA
What I do Bermich is have multiple windows open, if I find a product I might want with no info, I just search for it and a multitude of other supp stores or the company itself provide the information....

That whole PM thing seems weird since I am just a regular member. I figured a mod would just summarize this for you.
I really am impressed by all the tasks you take on and often wonder when you sleep.
Im not computer savvy so you have to remind us at times how time consuming some of these things are. Come on the board and say "do you guys know how long it took to...."
I also thought you had other people helping with the site and it was an easy fix but just werent aware of it. Figured you had members from this board hekp you out with the site in exchange for ASN products or discounts.
Tell the boss you need a raise.

Yeah I'd definitely agree with Bermich....Good Suggestion. If you want help with ASN people from here, like I said I do it for myself before my orders, could do research for the products, say from the company websites. Get the nutritional values, pictures, etc....
Another Suggestion I have is real time or weekly updates on inventory. That way you dont order stuff that isnt in or you can order things that are in....
Keep up the good work Jason

Agreed with Bermich. Jason deserves a raise for all his hard work. Thanks bro, for making this board and ASN great places!
