Deadlift Back pain?
About three months ago i took deadlifts out of my routine to mix things up a bit. About 3 weeks ago i started doing them again and my strength went up a bit. Now about 3 or 4 hours after my wokout my lower back starts hurting. It feels more like a back ache and not muscle soreness. I make sure my form is 100% but i might be wrong? Does anyone else get like this. Next morning i feel fine just a little sore when i bend over but i always got like that after deadlift day. The last thing i want is a back injury.

i get it too. for me it's just muscle soreness, and it affect my lower back almost immediately and then the rest of my back (especially lats) the next day.

yeah head up, and there is a difference between pain and soreness, if you are just sore like from a hard workout you are doing everything right.

Yeah I am with you guys I love dead lifting think the reason I love is so many ppl hate it, haha yeah but I like it a lot, on some occasions I enjoy it more than squats, do you guys use straight bar or hex bar?

straight bar for me.
Ever notice you become the center of attention when you dead lift? I think half the people in the gym are horrified of deadlifts. They look at you like your an animal . I like it
