I strained my left hamstring a week ago playing softball. After 7 days, it
still seems tender. I have not been able to work legs or do cardio.
Anyone have any suggestions other than alternating ice/heat & taking
anti-inflammatories?

Ride the bike (after stretching) to get the blood flowing to aid in healing.
