When just starting doing deads, what reps should I use? I was planning on doing 5 sets, 1st set 6, 2nd set 5, 3rd set 4, 4th set 3, and a 5th set with as many reps as I can do all while INCREASING the weight each set.
I heard when doing deads you shouldn't go over 6 reps because high reps can cause injury to your lower back when doing deads.
