Slap Tear

Has anyone had slap tear surgery. I schuduled for this surgery next week. I was wondering how long it is till i can return to the gym and be back to normal. Any one with info i would appriciate it , thanks

I believe its a tear in the ligaments or connective tissues in the shoulder joint. Mostly caused by some type of throwing overhead or presses. Orthroscopic surgery is the way to go where they just remove part of the tear to alliviate pain which is caused by fluid build-up and rubbing irratating the nerves.
