these are 2 different excercises targetting 2 different parts of the bicep.your gonna need to pick which 1 works better for you, as no1 will be able to answer this question for you bro.

straight bar 21's are killer
but when I do preachers, I use the ez curl
heavy close grip straight bar curls will make the outer head of your bis really show and fast.

i do i guess u cheats curls on the straight bar then e-z curl over preacher then dumbles on incline bench i have seen massive growth in my bi's and get great pump
str8, i dont like it tho, hurts my wrists..
I usally use the staight for my three heavy sets at the beginng of my workout, then do three heavy sets with alternate dumbells and finsh up with a heavy set of ez bar, I feel I can really squeeze at the end.
