Thread: Can someone recommend me a workout routine?

  1. #1

Question Can someone recommend me a workout routine?

A little about my self. Im 23 years old and im 6'1" and weigh 220lbs. My day basically consists of sitting on my ass behind a desk from 9-5. I am eating pretty healthy usually for breakfast I have a bowl of cereal, for lunch a salad or chicken & rice, and for dinner whatever my mom makes.

Within a few weeks I plan to join Ballys and work out 5-6 days a week which will consist of cardio (mostly treadmill) and also I would like to work out to gain muscleand I would like to get rid of my gut. My goal weight is 185-190.

I am coming to this board to seek advice on what exactly I have to do at the gym to acheive the goals I mentioned above. I really appreciate it.

Currently I look like , and I want to look like

Also can someone recommend on what supplements I should be taking

get your diet in check before you do anything.

FOOD! What you have now wouldn't help my dog grow.

    Research DIETS IN BODYBUILDING.

You can lift heavy/light/hard/soft/until the cows come home following ANY popular training regimen, but if your diet sucks azz, so will your results.

You don't grow in the gym, u grow out of it. U can get bigger putting weights away for other people provided you know how to eat correctly.

[QUOTE=BigBoi1881] and for dinner whatever my mom makes.

This is the killer of your sucess. Keep things simple eat clean foods only, plenty of fluids with mostly cardio and start out with machines for the first 3 months as I am assumming you have never stepped into a gym.

ugh... like the other bros said, your diet fvcking sucks... youre probably getting no more than 100g protein per day. Look at the bulking diet in the DIET forum, sketch out a diet that you think will work for you, post it up and we will critique it. Same for workouts.
