i'm using the same routine right now i have arms on wednesday tho, and shoulders on thursday so my biceps aren't burnt out for back day, but i've been using it for a while and its worked well for me,

I'd personally go
Mon- Chest/shoulders
Tuesday-Back/traps
Wed-off
Thur-bis/tris
Friday-Legs
Sat-off
Sun-off
IMO, if you're able to recover quickly enough to handle a 3 day split, then you're not training hard enough. So that being said, your new layout looks better than your old.
But remember, what works well for me might not work well for you. So try a lot of different combos and find out what works best for you.
