How is it that I target the glutes the best? Is it on a closed stance? or open V like stance? Also, do the glutes get targeted the most when? When I'm going down or when I pushing the weight back up?

Hmm I am not sure on the stance... Personally I find that when I am wide with feet straight and I push throught the heal this hits my hams and glutes a bit more
If you want to target the glutes use a bit of a wider stance than normal with your toes slightly pointed outward and squat deep. You can also target you glutes on the leg press by doing the same thing.
But on squat...ass to the grass? Or parallel to my knees wheen going down?
If you want to build big quads dont go any lower than parallel, but if you want to work the glutes and even a bit of hams ass to the grass baby!! Youll have to lower the weight but go DEEP.Originally Posted by Carth
