looking at BB mags or watching BB programs
old contests, pics of guys bigger than me etc...
I have this image of myself in my head as a huge chiseled god of a man. I'll sit down and picture in my mind what it would feel like to be this way, and what it would feel like to have to take my shirt off at the gym, or on the beach, and to be the biggest most defined guy there and have girls just stare at me in awe. I get this insane rush of adrenaline, and I can't wait to get to the gym.

Seeing a beautiful woman in a bikini with the perfect body. oh yeah looking at BB mags. But mostly they just make me mad cause I am not in there. LOL..
well for me...i have the common case of anabolic anorexia, the bigger, more cut, stronger i get...makes me feel smaller and smaller and smaller....even though everyone is telling me in nutts that its all in my head, but thats what gets me motivated to get beyond that mental point...

yea for me just to picture myself lookin like ronnie coleman or something and just walkin into some club with sleeveless shirt on and havin every guy be intimidated and all the girls starin definately gives you a reason to hit the gym
neatly wrapped, perfectly balanced ,delightfully sweet, winter green spliff....hehe my avatar says it all...
ocasionally laced with some crushed up vicotine for those days I'm so tired and sore I can barely walk.
My excuse? no man in his sane state of mind woult even think about gym after 8-12 hours of hard-core construction work (5-7 days a week )
Seeing other guys lifting heavy and getting big or that they are bigger than me. Also seeing my waist expand. :(

Women used to motivate but Im married now so I have to rely on my competitive spirt and desire to win my first comp......or at least not make a fool of myself. :D
Bodybuilding mags and stuff get me going..but sometimes when I go to the gym I am just not mentally "their" But the first time I see a fine ass girl at the gym working out I got nuts. I think to myself "Those are the girls that are gonna want me" Don't get me wrong its not for the ladies at all I lift but on those days of a slump or what not and Im not feeling it, beautiful women help.

if i do not go this time what would stop me from going next time. I type of guy i only go all way or not at all. So i can not take one day off. I beat myself up and eventually end up there anyways. ANother way is for me to think about my goals and if i do not go i will achieve them.
I am with Deisel on this one. Just drag my ass in there and go. Sometime I feel like crap when I am dragging myself over there and feel better a couple mintes in, sometimes I feel like crap all the way through. I just push forward and get through it on those days.
Seeing young women (fitness & bb'rs)with fabulous bodies, helps motivate me cause I know I have to work even harder to try to hang on to that youth!

Just picturing the what I want to look like...my training partner and I help each other out when the other guy isn't into the workout..and I do the same as the other guys...just drive my ass to the gym..and then as soon as I here the metal clanging....I am pumped and ready
beautiful women make me want to get bigger so i can get with them, well that gets them looking at me atleast
