wich cardio machine do you prefer?

lately, I find that a 3.7 mph brisk walk on the full incline setting of the tredmill will burn around 700 calories if I do it for 45 minutes. The stepper will burn about 5-600, however I feel so much more tired after the stairmaster, isnt that odd? What do some of you use?
