    Lightbulb Why?

all i hear is 45min cardio sessions .. but couldnt you stretch it out to atleast an 1.5hrs before your body adapts and lowers its calorie expenditure... i mean as long as your at 55%-65%MHR it shud be no problem right?

think it depends what ur goals are. If you wanna bhurn the fat then i suppose doing more than 45 mins is fine, bu tif like me you want to bulk then I tend to keep it down to a minimum of 30 mins a session about twice a week

i have heard and read that when your body does a certain activity for an extended period of time that it can adapt the the activity and lower its calorie expenditure to preserve energy.. i have read that 2x and heard it from some dood a PT Ciminare

You could stretch it out as long as you want, it's all about intensity. Most people use the 45-60 minute guideline for convenience, who wants to spend 1+ hours doing cardio.

Your body isnt going to make any significant changes in energy expenditure in 1.5 hours.
