Personally I find that it does for me but a lot of people find the bar packs on the mass.. I just find that with dumbells I go wayy down and it really lets the blood get in there.. But IMO both should be done, alternate from workout to workout
i was going to hit the dumbell thing in every position for 8 weeks to see how my bench improves but also for the past three weeks my chest feels more pumped and worked than flat bench but who knows

Bar for a month Bells for a month or atleast 3 weeks straight on each .. i like to do 6weeks bar 3 weeks bells
