CG Bench Presses
I have just added close grips to my tri routine, and i was wondering if it's hard on your arms to use a strait bar. i've been using one out of convenience, but i'm thinking it could lead to problems in the future.

U are supposed to use a standard flat bench press barbell, yes.
Why would this hurt your arms??

well i haven't had any pain but sometimes when i curl on the outside grips with a cambered bar or on a standard bar i get this feeling like shin splints kind of along the outside of the actual forearm bone (it must be stress on the ligiments there).
even though cg's haven't bothered me yet, they do feel like they stress that same set of ligiments a teeny bit.

If my grip is too close together on straight bar close grip press then my wrists hurt, especially with a heavy load. I have to widen my grip, which takes the emphasis off the tris, so I don't bother with them anymore. Maybe its my form??

Keep them shoulder width apart. This should apply all the forces vertically, instead of putting horizontal pressure, causing pain.
