Also the wider your hands are, the faster and wider your back will grow.

are these good for increasing mass?

when u do the pull ups, should the bar end up behind U or in front of U>>?????
if you i pull to the front i contract my lats to a greater degree. when i pull to the back i can flex my scapula a bit better which will build my iner back and lower traps more than the front pulls.Originally Posted by Ridla

Weighted pull ups on a wide grip is a killer deal for back width.
weighted pull ups and dead lifts are the number one exercise for back mass
wide grip pulls ups rule! i always do them with palms facing out!
Wider hands wider back what’s your source?Originally Posted by BlueAndromeda73
Man I weigh too much..hopefully if i start doing them more I will be able to do them easily
There's no such thing, you just dont need to add weight to them like most of us. How much do you weigh anyways? With my weight and the weight I put on the belt I get right about 300lbs and I can still do 7 pulls.Originally Posted by chest6
i love rocky style pull up's http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/exerc...ckypullups.htm
First time is always the hardest, To get started use the cheat method and get some one to hold your feet, this helps you get the lift, do more cable pull downs and you will soon be pumping out ten unaided pull ups in no timeOriginally Posted by chest6
i think when i started doing pull ups i could only do three maybe four, some ridiculous low # like that now i can do 30+ w/o any weight just stay consistent and like mention before if you can have someone spot you the first couple timesOriginally Posted by chest6
Or start narrower. You won't hit the lats as much, but better narrow than not at all.Originally Posted by oldandgrim
