For weights, I stick with heavy weights, low reps. What builds muscle, will help to maintain muscle.
As a rule, my training remains the same...Most times i don't adjust my diet either..just increase my cardio.
let me clarify this point tho...i don't normally have to make dietary adjustments cus i'm usually lean year-roundQuote:

I will up the reps by two, but no more, diet n cardio on empty stomach are main cutter
Usually just add more cardio.
getting ripped up is 100% diet and cardio!Quote:

i usually up the reps a lil bit. but thats mostly to give my muscle a change in routine

change diet
because you've been fasting as you sleep so your body is depleted of nutrients so your body will resort to burning stored bodyfat instead(simply put)Quote:

and like jant said change up your diet! because thats like 99.9% of getting ripped up!
thanks for your advice guys.... target heart zone... your absolutly right i follow that when i do cardio. i stay at the high end of my zone but always in my zone. i know diet is everything it so hard to keep one i did it once in my life for like 6 weeks and it was hell... i give everyone credit who can keep a diet.
but i found just cutting down your portions work as well. i just eat very little portions (chicken, rice, pasta, suop, whatever) which keeps me hungry within an hour-hour and a half of eating. thats works for me for now.
I just change my diet and do more cardio, basically up my protein and down everything else. But keep the weights up or else I feel like I lose mass quick.
when i was cutting i was eating like 10-12x/day to achieve a greater thermogenetic effect! give that a try too!
damb thats alot, do you count a protein bar or shake as a meal? how small was your portions?>
everything man! every you put in your mouth counts when you're dieting!!
pretty small but enough!
