I do 1 bodypart a week, so the chest/tri combo is not part of my training. See some guys in the gym doing dips and know it can work both tris and chest. How do you differentiate/isolate just tris or just chest while doing dips?

Researched a few theads back, let's see if I got this right....
1. Chest-lean forward, arms/elbows out
2. Triceps-sit straight up, arms/elbows close to body
Do I understand this correctly?
Ya thats right.Originally Posted by Hans
You got it right. But you gotta understand that with dips/close grip bench press, you won't be able to isolate only your tri's. Your pecs will always work a bit. You won't overtrain your pec that way tho... Good luckOriginally Posted by Hans
