    hows this chest routine

    monday- chest
    4 sets incline bench
    4 sets incline dumbell
    4 sets incline flys
    4 sets decline dumbell
    4 sets dips

    weight = 6-8 reps

    then on ... wednesday or thursday, whatever muscle group im working out that day before i do it, id do 3-4 sets of heavy bench, 3-4 reps a set

    hows that sound? anyone ever try anything like that before?

    I know myself very well, so can't really judge others routines... but I personally would feel overtrained with this workout.

    If you are doing 20 sets, allow 6-7 days to recover. Do not work it again on wed/thursday. . .

    I'd be sore enough that i cant see how you COULD work chest again that soon. Should only do something like that once a week. Or cut down on volume and pair it with another muscle group if you must work it twice.

    i only do chest 1 week and do maybe 14-15 sets. i couldn't see how doing anymore than that would be beneficial. i do drop sets and burnout sets and i always get sore for at least a few days afterward. anymore training would be too much.

    overtraining yes. I said this before to someone else that posted their chest workout, it looks very basic and almost like something out of a muscle mag. Need more variations and different ways to challenge yourself rather than the simply bber routine.
