Overtraining?
Right now I am on a pretty powerful cycle....and i workout each bodypart twice a week. I feel pretty tired most of the time, and i am just wondering if maybe im hampering my gains by working out the same muscle group twice in a 7 day period? Do you guys prefer doing each muscle group only once per week, or would you say twice a week isn't overtraining and is optimal for results?

i think u might be overtraining
once a week should do
and ur saying ur really tired i think u are over training. resting is where u grow
i prefer once a week........

Will i still be able to continue making gainsl ike that working one muscle group per 7 days? I heard after 3 days unworked your muscles atrophy?

whatever man hit all your muscles hard once a week, eat right and I'm sure you'll see double the results.. this is my split, it might not be the best but it work great for me...
1 - Chest,biceps, shoulders(front)
2 - rest
3 - Legs
4 - rest
5 - back, shoulders(back and center)
6 - triceps, abs, calves
7 - rest
8 - cardio(higher intensity)
the trick is to try new routines and keep your body guessing, when it comes to bodybuilding, of course knowledge is key but you can't beat experience
